Hi, I’m Suzy! I am a Shih tzu and I weigh just over 16 pounds and am 4 years and ten months old. I might seem a little shy at first, especially in new situations, but I promise I’m worth the wait. With a little patience and kindness, I’ll soon be snuggling up to you, and you’ll get to see the sweet side of me that loves cuddles and quiet companionship. I’ve been told I’m good with other dogs, and having a furry friend around might help me feel more comfortable in my new home. I thrive in a calm environment, so I would prefer a home without young kids who might move too quickly or be a bit too loud for my liking. Slow introductions are my favorite, and once I know I’m safe, I really come out of my shell. I’m looking for a forever home where I can feel secure and loved, surrounded by people who understand that my heart is big, even if my steps are small at first. I can’t wait to meet you!
