A New Chance Animal Rescue’s model is one of integrity – designed to address, treat, and reveal (to adopters any known) medical and behavioral issues. This care and transparency, along with the process of matching dogs to their new homes, involves expense, but it is a crucial step in securing our goal of a happy, successful adoption.
When you add up all the costs of medical care, quarantining, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and foster care, our average pre-adoption expenses for one healthy dog hover around $1,560. Expenses for dogs with medical and/or behavioral issues are considerably higher.
To encourage more adoptions of otherwise forgotten animals, we keep our adoption donations at an affordable level. This means that we must fundraise to make up the difference between our adoption donation amount and the actual expenses involved in rescuing our dogs.
We cannot rescue without your assistance. We need YOU to save lives.
