Born down South simply to bear litters for a seller, pure-bread Cici had spent her entire life of 6 years contained in a rabbit hutch producing babies. Green moldy water was pooled in her bowls and she was never personally handled. Her good luck was that finally, Animal Control seized her from her situation.
This long-haired chihuahua was afraid of everything that was new and after her very narrow world, that was most things. Weighing in at a mere 6 lbs. only, and burdened with a lonely and distressing life experience, it was no wonder Cici was so shy and timid at first.
Her wonderful foster home patiently worked with her to bring her out of her shell … and achieved some success. Little Cici was adopted by a couple who wanted to continue to work with her and who had another dog. Finally, Cici was in a home where she could thrive on love and reassurance.
