Hey paw-some people! My name is Prince and I am an 8-month-old Pitbull mix looking for a foster home. I am a little nervous about writing this because I am worried that I might be overlooked. I have heard that there is a stigma that comes along with being a Pitbull and it makes me so sad to think that people would judge me based on my breed and appearance. I really hope you will give me a chance and continue reading about who I am and what I have been through.
Before I was rescued, I went through a really tough time. My sister and I were nearly starved to death, our skin was in terrible condition, and our nails were so overgrown because nobody ever trimmed them and it caused a lot of pain. Since then, things have been looking up for me and I am on the road to recovery. I have gained a lot of weight, going from 24 pounds to 42 pounds, and I am continuing to gain more. I am doing much better on all accounts, and I am so grateful for the care and attention that I am receiving.
I know it might be hard to believe, but even after everything that has happened to me, I still trust and love humans. In fact, I really enjoy meeting new people and giving them loads of kisses to show them how excited I am to make new friends. I’m just a happy boy who is thrilled to have a new chance at life.
All I want is to find a forever family who will love me unconditionally. Please give me the opportunity to prove to you that I am more than just a breed or a stereotype, but a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy and happiness into your life. Thank you for letting me share my story with you!
