Poppy is a delightful 7.5 year old, 34 pound Wheaten/Poodle mix who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and discover what it means to be loved as someone’s cherished companion.
Rescued from a life as a puppy mill mother, Poppy is now learning all about the wonderful world she missed. What a sweetheart she is! She is housetrained, walks nicely on leash, and is working hard on her basic commands. She absolutely adores people and is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate. She also does wonderfully with other dogs.
Poppy has limited hearing due to scar tissue from untreated ear infections in her past, but you would never know it after spending time with her. She doesn’t let it slow her down one bit — she is happy, loving, and eager to be part of everything.
