Martin is a 4-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua who is learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. This little guy is nervous, but he is trying so hard to be brave, and that makes him incredibly endearing. Martin came from the South and is still building his confidence. He does well with other dogs and is learning how to walk on a leash. What he really needs now is a warm, patient home where he can take things at his own pace and discover what it means to feel safe and loved. Because Martin is fearful, he would do best in a home without young children who may overwhelm him. With patience, encouragement, and a little time, we believe this sweet little guy can blossom into a much more confident companion.
