The simplest word to describe Marnie is sweet. This resilient girl came to us as part of a local cruelty case and has come a long way in foster care. Weighing just 4 pounds upon arrival, she is now up to 20 pounds and still gaining weight. Remarkably, she is an 11-month-old purebred Yellow Lab. We anticipate she will reach about 25 pounds once she finishes filling out, making her essentially a mini Lab.
Marnie is excellent with other dogs and loves every person and animal she meets, including the toddler in her foster home. She absolutely loves toys and is always carrying one around, wiggling with joy and doing an adorable happy whine. She even collects them in her crate to play with. She is crate trained, housetrained when kept on a schedule, and currently working on her basic commands.
Marnie is looking for a home that will continue to show her the love and care she deserves. In return, she will shower her new family with endless joy and loyalty.
