Hi everyone, I am Leon, a 3 month old, 7 pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix. Although my name means “lion” and “brave-hearted,” I am not quite there yet. I started my life on the streets with my two sisters, Lottie and Letty. Right now, people are still really scary to me because of past experiences, and I sometimes feel like all humans are scary.
However, with the help of my foster mother, I am learning that this is not the case. I am discovering that people actually want to love me and they give me really yummy food and super fun toys. I love playing with my sisters and take a lot of comfort in their company. Although we are not a bonded trio, having another dog in my future home would help me continue learning how to no longer be a cowardly lion, but a brave and loved one. On that note, little kids also still make me a bit nervous, so a home with older kids would be best. While I wait for my forever family, I am going to keep experiencing endless love and joy with my siblings and my foster mama.
