Hey there new friends, I’m Florence! I’m a 7-year-old Bichon, weighing in at just over 10 pounds. My life before coming to the rescue was spent confined to a puppy mill, so I’m a bit unsure when I meet new people, but I warm up nicely and have been told I’m a real sweetie. I love being pet, and I’m starting to really enjoy those gentle pats and belly rubs. I’m a laid-back girl who doesn’t need a lot of excitement—just a cozy spot to relax and some love from my humans. I’m also great with other dogs, so if you’ve got a furry friend at home, I’d be happy to hang out with them, too. Having some doggy pals around actually helps me feel more comfortable, so I wouldn’t mind a canine companion! The rescue wanted me to share with you that they are getting me all set up for my spay. I’ve missed out on a lot of love in my life, but I’m excited to finally find a home where I can relax and feel safe. Could that be with you?
