Hello world! I’m Ellie, a 1.5-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog weighing 58 pounds, and I’m on the lookout for a forever home. Life has been a bit scary recently—my family had to surrender me after our home washed away during Hurricane Helene. I was living outside with a lot of other dogs, but now I’m safe and looking for someone who will give me the love and attention I’ve been missing. I may be a little nervous at first, but I warm up quickly and you’ll see just how sweet and friendly I am. I’m curious about the world around me and I’m told I do really well on the leash. I’m ready to start a new chapter in life with a family who will show me what it’s like to be loved and cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and share my heart with you!
