Nice to meet ya! I’m Callie — a 1-year-old, 13-pound Shih Tzu with big eyes, soft fur, and an extra-adorable face that pretty much does all the talking for me. I came from a hoarding situation, so a lot of things in the world are still pretty new and a little overwhelming. Because of that, I can be a bit nervous at first when I meet new people or go new places, but once I see you are kind to me, I warm up and my sweet, friendly side comes out. I’m good with other dogs and even have a friend, Clementine, who is looking for her own forever home as well! I’m not great on leash yet, but I’m working on it and getting better with practice. I’m looking for a home that will give me stability, time, and lots of gentle affection so I can fully blossom.
