Hey everyone! I’m Bruno — an 8-year-old, 52 pound German Shepherd with a heart as big as my paws. I haven’t had the easiest life. I was neglected for a long time, and I lost sight in my left eye, but I never lost hope. Despite everything, I’m easygoing, loyal, and full of gratitude for every kind word and gentle touch that comes my way. I walk beautifully on a leash, get along great with all other dogs, I’m fully housetrained, and I adore being near my people — just happy to exist beside you, soaking up the love I waited so long to find. I get along wonderfully with all other dogs. There’s one more thing you should know — black dogs like me are often the last to be adopted. We’re easy to overlook, even when we have the biggest hearts. But I promise, if you look a little closer, you’ll see a gentle old soul who’s ready to make your home warmer, your days softer, and your heart fuller. I may only be able to see out of one eye, but I’ll see you clearer than most — because I’ll know you were the one who chose me.
