I weigh about 9 pounds, and though I was born with a large umbilical hernia and a deformed back paw, I don’t let that stop me. I run, play, and love just like any other puppy. I’m the kind of pup who melts into your arms the moment you pick me up. I look up at you with trusting eyes, full of hope and sweetness. I love people, love attention, and love life. I don’t see myself as “different.” I just see myself as lucky — because I’m here, and I’m ready to love someone with everything I’ve got. What I need is a special home, not because I’m fragile, but because I’m extraordinary. Someone who will see my little imperfections and realize they make me even more beautiful.
