Attention, this is your Captain speaking! Captain Willie to be specific. I’m a 3-year-old American Bulldog and a very big boy at about 110 pounds. I know I look intimidating at first glance, but I promise I’m just a giant love wrapped in muscles. I’m fun-loving, goofy, and everyone’s favorite dog the moment they meet me. In my mind, I’m still a tiny lap dog… even if reality says otherwise. I am incredibly affectionate and absolutely live for hugs, cuddles, and quality time with my people. I’m a total couch potato and will happily plop myself right on top of you if given the chance. If you sit down, I will assume it’s an invitation to climb into your lap and soak up all the love you’re offering. Because of my size and strength, I need a confident handler — I’m very strong on leash and could easily knock over a small child without meaning to, so I wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with young kids. What I really need is someone who can handle my strength and appreciates a big, affectionate, loving dog who just wants to be close. If you’ve got a big couch, strong arms, and a lot of love to give, I’d love to be part of your family!
