I’m Birch — a 3-year-old Westie, about 21 pounds, and one very sweet little boy looking for my first real home. Until now, I lived in a puppy mill, where my days were all the same and no one really knew me as a friend or family member. I was willingly surrendered, so that means I finally have a chance at the kind of life every dog deserves. I’m good with other dogs so if you already have a pup at home, I’d be happy to join. What I need now is a caring home that will show me what it means to be part of a family. If you can offer me understanding and love, I’ll spend the rest of my life making up for lost time — learning, trusting, and loving you back with my whole heart.
